A collaborative, culturally supportive, safe space for clinicians of color to engage in the complexities of working in the mental health field through a culturally informed trauma practice
What began as a collective desire among individual mental health practitioners for a culturally affirming space to connect, build community, and engage in meaningful clinical support, this group was formed.
We created this space to honor and make room for the unique perspectives, experiences, and wisdom we bring as therapists of color. We draw on ancestral wisdom, collective knowledge, and lived experience while examining the ways white supremacy, racism, and systemic oppression impact our clinical practice, our communities, and the clients we serve.
We are:
- Licensed to practice in WA state
- Identify as BIPOC
- Serve clients through a trauma lens utilizing an advanced modality designed to heal mind and body beyond talk therapy such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, brainspotting, and more
